We are delighted to announce our support for Coffee Birmingham, a celebration of the very best in Birmingham’s independent coffee shops and creative businesses, to be marked by a city-wide event on September 29th.On that day, we will be running two special tours at 11am and 2pm with the theme “Spirit of Birmingham”. The tours explore the city’s long history of innovation, creativity, enterprise and independent thinking. Packed with the usual Midlands Discovery Tours mixture of facts, anecdotes and humour, the tours are our contribution to what is sure to be an exciting and memorable day. We have once again teamed up with Urban Coffee Company to offer a “Tour and Coffee” package. Tickets are available online, from the Tourist Information desk at the Central Library, or in person from Urban Coffee Company.

The start locations of all our Birmingham Walking Tours
Standing on a mass grave. The site of a public hanging. The walking ghost of a bobby on the beat. Catacombs at night. A shop front which hides a most hideous crime. Contents of the latest blockbuster horror movie? NO! Just some of the amazing facts we learned about during a ghost walk around Birmingham City Centre. A super evening which culminated in a pint at an atmospheric old pub. Highly recommended for those interested in history, ghosts or simply a very pleasant and different evening out.
