Battle of Britain Day

On Saturday 15th September, Birmingham Lord Mayor, John Lines attended the service held at the Hall of Memory, Centenary Square, Birmingham to remember the RAF pilots from WWII.

The photo shows part of the precession on their way back to the Council House. The Hall of Memory is one of the stopping points on our Saturday and Heroes and Villains walking tours. The Hall of Memory was opened in July 1925 and lists all of the 12,320 Birmingham citizens that died in WWI
